
BC Rehab Advisory Council
A working council established to support collaboration and continuous improvement among dealers operating in the Adult Rehab area across British Columbia.

Purpose
The RAC exists to strengthen the adult rehab market by fostering dialogue among providers and stakeholders, identifying program and contract improvements, and advancing best practices.
The RAC is limited to Adult Rehab matters only.
Mandate & Objectives
- •Facilitate dialogue among Adult Rehab dealers.
- •Identify and propose improvements to Adult Rehab funding.
- •Coordinate dealer engagement with funders.


Governance
- •Founding Members meet quarterly to set priorities.
- •The Chair rotates among members on a 1-year term.
- •The RAC is not governed by the Societies Act — it sets its own rules.
- •Three annual priorities are established at the first meeting of each year.
- •At least one annual event is held in the BC market.
- •No membership fees. All discussions are confidential.
Membership
Founding Members
NHMHME, Motion, and NSM are the founding members. Each holds one vote on all matters including membership, annual events, and key decisions.
Provider Members
InvitedOnly active Adult Rehab dealers may participate. The Founding Members may extend invitations — a majority vote is required. Provider members may attend events and participate on all committees. Invitations will be sent in February 2026.
Manufacturer Members
AnnualManufacturers may participate on committees only. Founding members vote annually on manufacturer membership. Initial members: Invacare, Blake Medical, Pride Mobility, Motion Composites, Physipro, Evergreen Medical, and Bruno.
